Jean Patton, Certified Nutritional Therapy Practitioner (NTP)
Before I became a Certified Nutritional Therapy Practitioner, I was the client.
There was a season in my life when my health began declining in ways I couldn’t explain and couldn’t fix. I went from doctor to doctor hoping for answers, praying for direction, and searching for relief. Yet I often left appointments feeling unheard, without clarity, and no closer to feeling well.
I tried everything the wellness world had to offer. Some things helped briefly. Nothing truly lasted.
Eventually, I reached a point of exhaustion and surrender. In that season, my faith became my anchor. I stepped back, quieted the noise, and in prayer asked a different question: What does my body truly need at its most foundational level?
I began to see my health through a new lens; not as something to fight against, but as something to steward with care. I believe deeply that our bodies are wonderfully designed by God, and that when we support them in the right ways, they have an incredible capacity to restore and heal.
That shift changed everything.
I discovered nutritional therapy, an approach built not on adding more, but on returning to the foundations the body was created to rely on.
The results weren’t instant. But they were real, and over time, they became lasting.
That experience didn’t just restore my health; it clarified my calling. Through prayer, study, and a growing desire to serve others, I felt led to pursue formal training. I became a Certified Nutritional Therapy Practitioner and founded Seed & Stone Nutritional Therapy to walk alongside others who feel lost, discouraged, or unsure where to begin.
My faith remains the cornerstone of how I live and how I care for my clients with compassion, patience, and hope. It is a privilege to help others rebuild their health, one foundation at a time, and to remind them that healing is possible when we support the body with wisdom, consistency, and grace.

The Faith-filled Meaning Behind Seed and Stone
The name Seed & Stone reflects the two principles that shaped both my faith and my approach to health. During a season of illness, I felt lost, overwhelmed, and unsure how to restore my well-being. In those moments, I leaned on my faith and was guided to return to the basics, focusing on nourishment and foundational support. That journey revealed a true, lasting path to healing.
Today, Seed & Stone Nutritional Therapy exists to help others plant the right seeds and build on a strong foundation, so their bodies can restore, grow, and flourish.
The Seed
The seed represents growth, nourishment, and the promise of life. In Scripture, seeds symbolize sowing and reaping, reminding us that when we invest in the right things, growth and abundance follow (Luke 8:5–15, 2 Corinthians 9:6).
Just as seeds carry the blueprint for life, nutrient-dense foods provide the raw materials your body needs to repair, restore, and thrive. When we nourish the body with consistent, supportive habits, growth begins to unfold naturally, like a seed flourishing in healthy soil.
The Stone
The stone represents strength, stability, and permanence, an unshakable foundation. In Matthew 7, the wise builder constructs on rock rather than sand, ensuring that the house stands firm through every storm.
In the same way, strong health is built on steady foundations. When digestion, blood sugar, sleep, stress resilience, and nourishment are supported, they create a firm base that helps the body recover, thrive, and remain steady through life’s challenges.
You don’t have to face your health journey alone. Hope and healing are possible.
I know what it feels like to feel lost in your own body, searching for answers, trying different diets and supplements, yet still not feeling like yourself. That was my journey too. I went from doctor to doctor, often leaving appointments more confused and discouraged than before.
It wasn’t a lack of effort; it was a lack of clarity. I didn’t fully understand what my body truly needed at its most foundational level. It took time, prayer, and surrender to learn how to establish real, lasting healing.
Christ is the foundation of my life and my work. I believe we are created with purpose, and our bodies are wonderfully designed to restore and thrive when given the right support. It is a privilege to walk alongside others with patience, empathy, and respect, meeting you exactly where you are.
When we work together, we take a gentle, whole-person approach. From there, we build a plan designed specifically for you. Not a quick fix or a one-size-fits-all protocol, but a thoughtful path rooted in your unique needs.
We begin with the foundations: nourishing your body, restoring balance, and supporting healthy rhythms. These small, intentional steps build over time, giving your body what it needs to heal and grow stronger.
My hope is that you’ll not only feel better, but also feel seen, understood, and encouraged, and gain confidence in caring for your body, knowing you are not walking this journey alone.
It would be my honor to walk alongside you and help you rebuild your health, one foundation at a time.

A Different Approach to Supporting Your Health
Working with a Nutritional Therapy Practitioner is designed for those who have been dealing with ongoing symptoms and still don’t feel like themselves. It’s for those who are ready to move beyond temporary fixes and begin supporting their body in a way that allows for real, lasting change.
Rather than focusing on symptom management alone, this approach looks deeper, helping you understand what your body truly needs and giving you a clear, supportive path forward.
Nutritional Therapy Practitioner (NTP)
This approach is centered on you as a whole person. Through a bio-individual, root-cause lens, we look for the underlying nutritional and lifestyle imbalances that may be contributing to how you feel.
Rather than simply managing symptoms, the focus is on strengthening the foundations, supporting your body with the nourishment, habits, and rhythms it needs to heal and thrive. The goal is to understand why symptoms are happening, so we can address them at the source.
Registered Dietitian (RD)
Registered dietitians are licensed professionals who often work in clinical or medical settings, focusing on nutrition support for specific diagnosed conditions.
Health Coach
Health coaches typically provide general wellness guidance, encouragement, and accountability, helping clients stay consistent with healthy habits.
